Münchens Improtheaterfestival geht 2019 in die vierte Runde in Folge! Auch dieses Jahr werden wir im November wieder über 130 Improvisationskünstler für Workshops & Shows in München begrüßen. Alt-Oberbürgermeister Christian Ude ist erneut als Schirmherr mit dabei. Der Kartenvorverkauf für unsere Festival Shows ist ab sofort geöffnet! Wir bieten dieses Jahr auch einen Impro-Schnupperkurs am Samstag an.
Munich's improv theater festival is going into its fourth consecutive round! Again we will welcome more than 130 artists of improvisational theater for workshops & shows across the city. Munich's former mayor Christian Ude is once more our official patron. Check out our fantastic festival shows, tickets available now!

Liebe Teilnehmer, Zuschauer und Unterstützer des Improvember Festivals,
die Kunst des Improvisierens und der Spontanität sind in der heutigen Welt unerlässlich, nicht nur auf der Bühne sondern auch im Berufs- und Privatleben. Als Fähigkeit bereichert uns Improvisation durch gedankliche Flexibilität und Vielfalt, als Theaterkunst kann es Publikum wie Auftretende faszinieren und erheitern.
Gemeinsames Schauspielen und Improvisieren stärkt wie wenige andere Kunstformen die Fähigkeit, sich in seine Mitmenschen Hineinzuversetzen und fördert so gegenseitiges Verständnis, Respekt und Empathie, kurzum: das Miteinander, das unsere weltoffene Gesellschaft so lebenswert macht. Dass sich über 120 Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer aus Deutschland und der Welt hier treffen, um ihre Kunst zu verfeinern und die Gemeinschaft zu stärken, freut mich daher sehr.
Als Münchner und Kabarettist bin ich froh, dass unsere Weltstadt mit Herz nun neben den vielen bunten Theatergruppen auch ein regelmäßiges Festival des Improvisationstheaters feiert, das nun schon zum vierten Mal als ehrenamtliches Gemeinschaftsprojekt vieler Schauspielerinnen und Schauspieler die Kultur Münchens bereichert.

Dear participants, audience and supporters of the Improvember Festival,
Improvisation and spontaneity are essential skills in today’s world, not only on stage but also in our professional and private lives. As a competence, improvisation enriches our mental flexibility and diversity, as a form of stage art it can intrigue and amuse audience and actors alike.
Acting and improvising together strengthens the ability to put oneself in the position of others, supports mutual understanding, respect and empathy – in summary: Inherent qualities of cooperation that make living in our open society so valuable. The fact that more than 120 participants from Germany and around the world are coming together in Munich to refine their art and consolidate their community delights me.
As a Munich resident and cabaret artist I am pleased to see that our cosmopolitan city now not only has many versatile theater groups to show for, but also celebrates a regular festival of improvisational theater, organized for the fourth time by a community of actors working in an honorary capacity to enrich Munich’s cultural diversity.
I wish you all an amazing festival, entertaining shows and exciting workshops!
