About Improvember

Improvember ist Münchens Festival des Improvisationstheaters. Jedes Jahr im November heißen wir Künstler und Teilnehmer aus aller Welt für Shows und Fortbildungen willkommen. Improvember wird vom gemeinnützigen Improtheaterfestival München e.V. organisiert. Wir fördern die Kunst der Improvisation und stärken durch Workshops, Shows und Gemeinschaft den Zusammenhalt unserer Schauspiel-Community. München hat sehr viele aktive Improtheatergruppen, von denen bereits über 15 im Verein für das gemeinsame Projekt eines internationalen Festivals zusammenarbeiten. Im Archiv unseres Gründungsjahres gibt es mehr über die Ursprünge unseres Projekts.
Improvember is Munich’s international festival for improvisational theater and comedy. Every November, we welcome actors, teachers, and participants from around the world for 4 days of shows and workshops. Improvember is run by a local, non-profit organization which celebrates the art of improvisation, while encouraging spontaneity, intercultural communication, positivity, and thinking outside the box. Munich has many active improvisation groups, and Improvember unites over 15 of them in the common cause to organize this international festival.
